Christina M. Sarraf

Christina M. Sarraf is an associate in Berman Tabacco’s San Francisco office. Since joining the firm, Christina focuses her practice on privacy, securities and antitrust matters.

Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Christina represented consumers in class action litigation in the areas of privacy, automotive, and other consumer products. Christina also previously advised startups on corporate compliance and intellectual property protection.

Christina is a 2019 graduate of the University of New Mexico School of Law. While in law school, she externed at the Sixth District Court of Appeal for the State of California and clerked at Bay Area Legal Aid and various private firms in New Mexico. She is currently a member of the securities, antitrust, and privacy litigation teams.

  • Part of the team representing putative classes in two high-profile privacy class action lawsuits. Brown v. Google LLC, No. 5:20-CV-03664 (N.D. Cal.) (allegations regarding the collection of personal user data while users are in private browsing sessions); Rodriguez v. Google LLC, 3:20-CV-04688 (N.D. Cal.) (allegations regarding the collection of personal browsing histories on consumers’ mobile devices).
  • A member of the antitrust litigation team prosecuting claims against major banks alleged of colluding to fix the prices of European Government Bonds, harming investors in In re European Government Bonds Antitrust Litig., No. 19-cv-2601 (S.D.N.Y.) and Ohio Carpenters’ Pension Fund et al. v. Deutsche Bank AG et al., No. 1:22-cv-10462-VM (S.D.N.Y.).
  • A member of the privacy litigation team prosecuting claims against companies alleged of failing to safeguard members’ protected personal information in: (i) In re LastPass Data Security Incident Litig., No. 2:22-cv-1685 (D. Mass.) (allegations regarding data breach); (ii) Goss v. Performance Health Tech. Ltd., No. 23-CV-34744 (Or. Cir. Ct. Multnomah Cty.) (same); and (iii) Love, et al. v. Ladder Financial, Inc. et al., No. 3:23-cv-04234 (N.D. Cal.) (allegations regarding invasion of privacy).
  • Assisted with the $17.5 million settlement in Hayden v. Portola Pharmaceuticals Inc., et al., No. 3:20-cv-00367-VC (N.D. Cal.), a securities class action stemming from alleged false and misleading statements related to the sale of Portola’s leading drug, Andexxa.
