As most of you know by now, last month we changed our name to Berman Tabacco, adding San Francisco partner Joseph Tabacco back onto our masthead. We also bid farewell to our longtime partner, Glen DeValerio, who has moved on to open a firm with his daughter, Daryl.
Many of you know Joe, a respected leader in our field and firm. He founded the San Francisco office in the early 90s and was pivotal in helping make us the national firm that we are today. Joe has served as a tireless advocate for our clients, recovering billions of dollars for investors and businesses harmed by securities fraud and antitrust violations. As well liked as he is respected, Joe was recently recognized as a top plaintiff’s lawyer in California by the California Daily Journal and a leading U.S. securities litigator by Chambers USA 2017.
While we are all excited about the change, we are most energized by what stays the same. Clients will work with the same partners and teams that they have relied on for years. “I am proud to have worked alongside Joe for the past twenty-five years, and I am honored to have his name next to mine in the new masthead,” commented Boston Partner, Norman Berman.
Joe Tabacco noted, “These are exciting times at the firm. We continue to expand our client base and practice areas, while maintaining our high level of service.”
We wish Glen and Daryl success and thank them for their years with the firm. We look forward to adding to our 35 years of service and experience…as Berman Tabacco.
