Berman Tabacco served as liaison counsel in a federal securities action filed against Extreme Networks, Inc. in the Northern District of California. Extreme Networks develops and sells network infrastructure equipment, including wired and wireless devices for accessing the Internet and related software. The lawsuit sought to recover losses resulting from alleged misrepresentations made by Extreme and certain of its officers about the company’s business and operations. The case settled for $7,000,000, which settlement was finally approved by the court on July 22, 2019.
